After purchasing, you'll receive a license key by email. Open flowlybudget.com/app, enter your key, and you're in. From there, go to Settings to set your name, income, savings goal, and home currency — Flowly will calculate your monthly budget automatically.

Tap the ✏️ Log tab at the bottom. Enter a description, amount, and pick a category — then tap Add Expense. Your budget updates instantly. That's it. Flowly is intentionally simple — no receipts, no bank linking, just fast manual logging.

Flowly works as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it installs directly from your browser, no App Store needed.

iPhone (Safari): Tap the share icon → "Add to Home Screen" → Add.
Android (Chrome): Tap the ⋮ menu → "Add to Home screen".

Once installed, Flowly opens full-screen like a native app and works offline.

Go to the ⚙️ More tab → Settings. Enter your monthly income and how much you want to save each month. Flowly subtracts your savings from your income to give you a clean spendable budget. As you log expenses throughout the month, your remaining budget updates in real time.

Keys are sent immediately after payment. Check your spam or junk folder first — payment confirmation emails sometimes land there.

If it's been more than 10 minutes and nothing has arrived, email us at hello@flowlybudget.com with the email address you used to pay and we'll send your key manually within the hour.

Unlimited. Your $5 license key works on every device you own — iPhone, Android, MacBook, Windows, iPad, or any browser. Just enter the same key on each device and your data syncs across all of them automatically.

Open flowlybudget.com/app. If you're not yet unlocked, you'll see a key entry screen. Paste your key and tap Unlock Flowly. On return visits, Flowly remembers your key automatically.

FlowSync requires an internet connection to push and pull data. A few things to check:

1. Make sure both devices are online
2. Make sure you're using the same license key on both devices
3. Try refreshing the app (pull down to reload, or close and reopen)

No. Your data is backed up to the cloud with FlowSync. Just open Flowly on your new phone, enter your license key, and everything restores automatically — all your expenses, goals, and settings.

Yes. Flowly is built offline-first. You can log expenses, view your budget, and use all features without any internet connection. Your data is stored on your device and syncs to the cloud automatically when you come back online.

On the Log tab, tap the currency selector next to the amount field and choose any of 150+ currencies. Flowly fetches the live exchange rate and automatically deducts the converted amount from your home budget. The original currency and converted amount are both shown in your transaction history.

On the Log tab, fill in your expense as normal. Then toggle on 🔄 Repeat this expense? and select a frequency — Weekly, Fortnightly, or Monthly. Recurring expenses log automatically on their schedule. You can manage or delete them from the Recurring section in the More tab.

Go to the 📊 Progress tab → scroll down to Savings Goals → tap + Add Goal. Give it a name and a target amount. Tap a goal to add funds to it manually. To delete a goal, tap the × button in the top-right corner of the goal card.

Your streak counts consecutive days where you've logged at least one expense. Log every day and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets. The activity heatmap on the Progress tab shows your full year at a glance — green days are days you showed up. Milestones unlock at 7, 30, and 100 days.

Go to the Home tab and scroll down to your transaction list. Tap any transaction to expand it, then tap the 🗑 delete button. The expense is removed and your budget is updated immediately.
